Megan’s presentation was on point. I learned so much from her experiences as a teacher. I can tell she puts in the work necessary to get the job done by continually sharpening her skills. Thanks for the book list also.
Thoroughly enjoyed a straight forward and extremely important message for us all supporting or in front of the classroom. So often we spent our life worrying, working and supporting the ones in our care that we forget to care for ourselves. We all know we need to take time for ourselves, however so often we forgo this. Refocus and energise! Thank you Megan - great session.
That was so good. Well done you! Love the bit about staff who are happy and healthy help make happy healthy kids . So true. You are so inspiring.
Wasn't she fantastic to listen too! I've already been onto her blog and jotted some ideas I would like to build on in my classroom beginning with the start & end of my day. Such a practical session with real/pragmatic approaches as a practitioner. I love the brain stuff and often try and introduce the year with theory around learning and memory, and emotion(blue zone/red zone) "Do less, do it better" is a huge tension for teachers and their expectations. This is a good reminder that we're here for the students, not the curriculum.
